The social media post was hauntingly familiar, said critics.

They love sneaking in these cute little Easter Eggs. They think we’re too dumb to notice them.

weird. a user on here was just telling me a few hours ago that my use of the term “literal nazis” was wrong because those words have meanings, and those meanings can’t be used to describe this administration

so, uh, that was a lie

We already have a great slogan. E pluribus unum. The idea that people from different places, backgrounds, and walks of life all come together for one cause, the betterment of all, that’s something to rally behind. The US hasn’t ever stood for that, but it’s something to strive for at least. What they’re offering has been rejected by the world time and time again and will continue to be. What they’re peddling is shameful and I’m disgusted that anyone is falling for this.

I swear half of all government actions now are just bait to goad people into violence so they can justify a massive crackdown.

I just can’t understand how people aren’t seeing they get the same results no matter what.

Slow, with lots of manufactured consent.

Or fast, with lots of outrage over the use of martial law and the insurrection act.

The department shared on X, formerly Twitter, an 11-second montage of American artwork captioned: “One Homeland. One People. One Heritage.”

The language immediately drew damning comparisons to the Nazi Germany slogan “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer,” which translates to “One People, One Realm, One Leader,”
