212·6 days agoBecause any public attempt of resistance is going to be met with violence. Our government has stated they plan to conduct drone warfare on us. Don’t get me wrong, personally I know what happens when there’s no resistance (they’ll just kill you anyway) but for the majority it’s usually a combination of distance (this place is huge), poverty and not wanting to be canon fodder for something they likely had nothing to do with.

It’s almost like jumping to firing the intelligent people who keep your business afloat at the mere idea that you could stuff a few more unnecessary dollars into your pocket without verifying the function of the “replacement” technology wasn’t the best idea was it? Personally I’m not even mad about the money. I’m pissed at the tech industry’s nonstop effort of attempting to discredit our work. I truly get why scientists get fed up and leave the country.
