Would vampires be people anymore? I feel like if they have to feast on me, that kinda separates us, but a vampire with human values could easily be considered people if they feed of donated blood, for example, requiring no major changes to current laws. Disable the display of the voting system. That’s what I do, and it’s the reason I can use Lemmy. It won’t solve the political doom and gloom part, but it really helped me with the anxiety that comes from the rejection of others to my ideas, or the dopamine boost when a collective accepts and praises my comments. Try it.
