Dude I clean windows for a living. The amount of people that don’t see me and walk within inches is infuriating. I get that sometimes there’s not much room to walk around and I try to be understanding of that. But the amount of times there’s 5+ feet of empty sidewalk and people can’t be bothered to move 1 foot to the right while they step around me…

Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•[Video] Ice agent pulls handgun and threatens to execute another protester point blank
4·5 days agoIt’s more of a nervous laughter 😅 not haha laughter. It’s ridiculous because this is what we’re dealing with. A bunch of goons with guns that hear any noise and think they’ve been shot and immediately start blasting.
This more accurately reflects me as I was reading the article

As Hernandez approached the passenger side door of his patrol car, he heard a popping sound which he later told investigators he perceived to be a gunshot. And he said he believed he had been hit.
“He began yelling ‘shots fired’ multiple times, falling to the ground and rolling,” the sheriff’s report said. “He fired into the patrol car.”
Lmao cops are ridiculous…

7·6 days agoIve been getting my anxiety meds from this online medical clinic for a few years. Didn’t need insurance just paid a monthly fee and I could talk to health professionals for whatever health issue I was having. A few months ago I was notified they were bought by an insurance company so now they can only serve customers with that insurance. So just fuck everyone that used the service before no more meds for them !!
My parents had a timeshare growing up and it was always our yearly spring break trip. Idk how much they paid but I always loved it and they always seemed happy with it.
Lmao apparently people still think they’re worth money. My 18 yo stepson said the other day how his mom could sell her beanie babies for “a lot of money!” We both just laughed. He thinks his mas produced Funko pops are gonna be worth a fortune one day too

My wife just wears regular T-shirts unless she’s wearing her work scrubs or dressed up for a date night. Do they not have T-shirts where you live?

Maybe his name is Frank and he puts an F on his things so he knows they’re his.
It’s actually a fake book written by a comedian for his show. He hired a ghost writer and the guy on the cover to pretend he never went to a gym in his life, then tricked a bunch of morning shows to have that guy on air promoting the book. The fact that the book is still on being sold on Amazon is honestly amazing 😂. Check out Nathan for y of you if you haven’t seen it.
Sounds kind of like The movement
I watched it and loved it but his humor of definitely not for everyone.
I was buying some rolling papers. They were $10 on Amazon. I decided to check eBay, they had the same exact pack but it was $15. Decided to go with the eBay purchase to avoid Amazon. 2 days later I get an Amazon delivery. It’s my rolling papers, shipped straight from Amazon with a $5 dollar markup going straight to the eBay seller. So not only did bezos still get his cut but i paid an extra $5 for the privilege.

People just walk into the cones and then say “oh I didn’t see it 😀”.
