It should not get like Reddit, but I still wish for more users so that some more specific “subreddits” (what’s the term used here on Lemmy?) are getting more users and more posts.

3·3 days agoEasier said than done lol. First of all, we are in a recession (we really are, if you factor out the fake AI growth), so having any job at all feels increasingly like a privilege. Second of all, I am pretty sure that there are more dickhead companies than good ones that care about their employees. Bonus points for difficulty if you just graduated from college/university and try to find an entry-level job. Those are basically non-existent these days.
So from ur PoV, it would also then be fine if for example a white actor would play MLK in a movie about him?

The most ironic thing about them is that US-Americans love to yap about their apparent freedom and how in Europe we are oppressed by our governments. But they are seemingly fine with the HOA telling them how to live on THEIR OWN PROPERTY. This will never be not funny lol.
Read th question again. It’s not about how far apart they are after 5 seconds. It’s about how fast they are separating from each other, so it’s about a rate, not distance.

Dude Arch Linux is not particularly for beginners. Try Linux Mint, it’s slogan is literally “It just works” and is designed with this tenet in mind.
