It’s extremely similar to Harvest Moon.

Stardew is a fairly cosy, casual farming game that you can delve pretty deeply into min-maxing if you want. Usually that profit min-maxing is at the expense of a huge portion of the game’s content - no time to befriend local villagers or experience the story if you’re trying to meet your turnip quota.

I have never felt more like a mad scientist. Beautiful game.

Can I just jump in here and say as an American I fucking care. I think we need to prosecute presidents for war crimes. All of them. I think every living former president deserves to be on trial for the murders they have committed. I’m staunchly anti-death-penalty but would make an exception if it prevents them from pardoning each other. This is the ONLY way we will reign in my country’s insane bipartisan military aggression, presidents should be scared as hell to misuse that power. I’m fucking horrified.

I finally got my license at 27. I HATED driving, found it difficult to multitask and just the constant adrenaline made me miserable.

I got over it because I had to after moving too far away from work to continue commuting by bike. At first I stuck to driving short, known routes. It eventually becomes muscle memory and the anxiety will lessen. I just wanted to let you know you can do it. It will suck but you’ll get there.

Could be that, or the lack of humans lead to food scarcity for the urban birdies and the wild type were better adapted and thrived more and had more living babies for those couple of generations.
