Can confirm, I was thinking about switching off of Chrome due to this but since I don’t use the custom stuff (much) I’m not noticing a difference with the v3 compatible “light” version of uBlock Origin.

Tried both, qBittorrent is much heavier on the CPU just sitting there idling. I do have a large amount of torrents, maybe over 200, and I didn’t expect to notice such a difference.

Plex. Right now we’re on vacation and can chill out with our current shows before bedtime, watching on the TV of the relative hosting us. No fuss. Aside from Movies and TV Series it also holds my music collection, Plexamp is awesome.

I’ve not gotten very deep into selfhosting due to priorities and time but I look forward to trying Immich as well as Home Assistant in the future.

Yet we agree that there is such a thing as one movie being better than another, broadly speaking. It’s not something to boil down to a percentage, but you might as well show more detail when you have the data.

Personally, I use ratings to estimate whether a movie that I’m interested in is worth my time. Especially Rotten Tomatoes is super useful for this because the critics score is basically a distilled thumbs up or down.

We’re only talking about the bottom third, I’d even be a bit harsher. Depends on the aftermath of what’s going on right now, we won’t be able to gauge the true impact for years if not decades.
