Given that it’s been literally the best selling console in history so far, I’m not so sure they needed a killer app, which they already have in both DK Bananza and Pokopia.
I work in a company that was started by the devs themselves. I went from hearing “the code is the best documentation!” (No it isn’t, it’s spaghetti) to “every task should be done in, at most, a day” (and now we have more support tickets and open PRs nobody has time to look at than ever)
Meanwhile I just feel more and more burnt out. The worst is the mental load of having to wrangle the tool that actively works against me and generates bad code faster than I’m able to write good code.
Why would you make your other friends suffer because of one asshole? That one guy showed up late? Sorry, we’ve already started, and the party left you as you didn’t show signs of life. Roll a new character in the meantime.
The sound that it makes, makes the scene doubly gross

From what I’ve read of his books, Asimov seemed like a pretty progressive person, but as much as he was, he was also a product of his time after all.

I don’t think Yoko Ono would act, but it would be a performance nonetheless.
And that mental image in itself is deeply disturbing
This. People are quick to forget it’s a tool. I know it’s causing problems in the market with a lot less positions for juniors, but I strongly believe it’s temporary. Management will learn it’s not a magic wand(the hard way if needed), and things will get back to normal.
Jaffa, kree!
…why aren’t you kreeing?!
EVERYBODY DO THE FLOP flops

Man, the movie arc really was the peak of KanoKari. If they went out after it, it would be so good. I lost much of my interest after that, and ended up dropping it a while later after you did. I remember then checking up on the manga after about 50 chapters later and literally nothing happened between me dropping it and then checking a chapter, I could literally just go back in like I never dropped it. It’s just not worth anyone’s time.

We in EU are slowly working on decoupling from US influence all over. It takes time.

I know, but it’s still annoying.

Fuck Netflix. It’ll only be available for my region in May.
I’ve been laughed at for this before, but I feel like this is exactly what NFTs could be used for. You could resell it and you’d lose the access to the game. I really feel like this would make digital game ownership a thing, without “akshully it’s a license”

GODDAMIT
I knew I know the name from somewhere, so I checked on my Kobo. He also wrote Technofeudalism

It’s a pretty interesting spin on how to decide on what weapon to use during a run - you choose different family members, each of them levels up separately, and every few levels you unlock a perk that gives a bit of a boost to the whole family.
I find it pretty nice, yet challenging - and after each run you get a new bit of story. I got it on sale myself, so I think it was definitely worth it.

Something, something, pot, kettle, something, something
I remember that! Mine looked like an N64 and gamepads looked like they were from PS1. On the bazaar there were so many PolyStations, and games were often hidden under clothes or some other stuff
