Indeed. My autism triggered hard on this. After all the googly eyes on the… sugar ring thingies? in the bowl, how can you forget the silverware.

2·2 days agoI’ve had French and German for 13 years. I don’t speak a word of French and can say very basic things in German, but not complete sentences.
What are you on about, there have been many instances where ICE drove over people. They have shot people.
There hasn’t been a Tiananman square like massacre, but the Chinese were military forced to to slaughter countrymen or be shot themselves. They made the wrong choice, killing civilians. ICE is people willingly joining to do unlawful things to innocent civilians, SS style. Murder, concentration camps, torture, starvation, etc.
The one is someone with a gun to their head, making the wrong choice. The other is making the wrong choice to willingly be the fucking gun.
The fact that I trust a Chinese tank driver “more”, doesn’t mean I trust a Chinese tank driver.
It would have been better formed if I said “I distrust a Chinese tank driver less than an ICE agent-”

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•might be hard to lose the weight, then
4·3 days agoModify an elevator they take regularly, making the overweight light remote controllable. As soon as they step in you flip the switch.
But like the other comment says, telling them won’t help them. It only makes them feel bad.
Instead I would ask them if they would be interested in doing sports together because you feel like getting better in shape and think it would be nice to have their company.
It moves the focus away from their weight and towards something positive. Plus, you will get in shape too. Something like that would help me being more healthy as I’m totally not motivated to do sports on my own and if I can help a friend get in better shape that would be an extra plus. Sports also helps mentally, which is the reason I should actually do it more often.
A friend dit this to me when I was deeply depressed. “Hey, I really want to go swimmong but I’m not that good at it and I don’t want to do it alone. Want to swim weekly and show me how to be better at swimming?” It really helped mentally and we had a lot of fun.
I can’t say everyone welcomes something like this the way I did, I’m just saying it really works for me. Also I’m not overweight so I can’t place myself in the shoes of someone struggling with that.
Is this real? Because “psychologically” is a word to difficult for his vocabulary.
