It’s not forced, just a coincidence. There are loads of homophones in Chinese so it’s easy to make puns like that.

In Canada, The United States, and Mexico, the advertised octane rating is the average of the RON and the MON, called the Anti-Knock Index (AKI). It is often written on pumps as (R+M)/2. AKI is also sometimes called PON (Pump Octane Number).

Because of the 8 to 12 octane number difference between RON and MON noted above, the AKI shown in Canada and the United States is 4 to 6 octane numbers lower than elsewhere in the world for the same fuel.

In Chinese watermelon is called 西瓜(west melon) and wintermelon is 冬瓜 (winter melon) but the first word sounds like 東 (east). Pumpkins are called 南瓜 (south melon) and in some places a certain squash is called 北瓜 (north melon)

Probably a bit basic but Charizard and Umbreon. I like ditto and wooper too! Though my favourite starter is either totodile or cyndaquil depending on the day lol.

The hobbies I have are working on my comic, playing some video games, or planning for my next dnd session. I find it hard to really sink in to something for awhile now, probably because I’ve only got about an hour of unstructured time on the weekdays. Weekends can swing wildly but I just find myself unable to really sit and enjoy doing it. I kinda just do one of the three in piecemeal whenever I find the time for it now.

Recently I’ve hurt my foot so I took a week off. The past couple days is when I’ve recovered enough that I don’t feel the need to be on bed rest for the whole day. Yesterday was the first time I’ve played a video game for over an hour in one sitting in what felt like ages.

A few weeks after I had a huge argument with my mom, The Beths released a song called Mother Pray for Me. I listened at work and almost cried then. A few months later my brother had a spare ticket to their concert and they played it at the show and I lost it.
