Last panel should say, “I was watching football”.

If you’re going to college to just get a certain job so that you can be safe and secure financially, then I would suggest a trade school. Of course unless you want to be a: doctor, teacher, engineer, or similar. College is designed to open doors and broaden horizons. . . or at least that’s what it used to be (some still are) until the corporate overlords realized they could use them to print money.
I don’t want to engage in violence and I certainly don’t want a gun. So, in this violent world of yours. . . Where do I (and people like me) weed out? Do I just lose if everyone turns to violence to solve equality problems? Your logic is sound in some ways, but is definitely flawed in others.
Yeah, maybe this comic isn’t the same, but my problem with the “my eyes are up here” thing is that men and women alike know that breasts are a turn on for some people and yet they wear a shirt/skirt exposing them and then get angry when the people attracted to them are caught looking. If you don’t want men/women looking at your breasts - then maybe don’t expose them.
Love the sentiment, but that link is pop-up cancer.
None of these, including the cartoon are examples of gaslighting. This is much more complicated than just telling someone they don’t remember something as they see it in their mind. It’s a series of ongoing purposeful lies to manipulate someone into your control. It’s the same type of misconstrued understanding of bullying. If someone treats you like an asshole - it does not mean they’re a bully. . . It just means they’re an asshole. Bullying is comprised of an ongoing mental/physically manipulation of someone in order to dominate them. Other examples of new gen cherry picking include the miss used “anxiety” and “OCD”. I work with teenagers who use social media too much and love to self diagnose and/or mislabel.
Old PC game titled “Oregon Trail” about Western expansion and the American Dream. You could die of dysentery - RFK jr. shows up with "dis"information. The American dream dies.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Who is an artist or public figure you still enjoy despite them being cancelled for bad behaviour?
533·20 days agoI understand people’s feelings towards her, but to call her transphobic seems a bit harsh. She doesn’t show hatred for trans people, but a need to show that they are different than woman born as female. Although this might be ignorant in some ways. . . I don’t see it as a form of hatred or fear towards trans people. We as a society have a hard time looking at nuance.
This absolutely works for all genders to be fair. I’ve had women tell me they wouldn’t date a bald guy even if the said guy is attractive otherwise . . . Right to my bald headed face. Hahaha.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Women of Ask Lemmy, what are your thoughts on this phrase, "if the bra and panties match, you weren't the one who decided to have sex tonight."
7·26 days agoThis makes sense in your context, but I am assuming that the context OP is discussing is the woman is going on a date that she knows will at least end up in her getting undressed enough that the other person will see her underwear.

I had every console. PS5, X-Box, Steam Deck, and Switch OLED. . . Guess which one I got rid of?
