The onboarding being a bit difficult is a good thing IMO, it keeps the standards a bit higher and the Facebook boomers and TikTok children out. The internet was better when it wasn’t so easily accessible.

1·6 days agoDefinitely not. I’ve worked on Mercedes, BMWs and VWs and they all had wheel bolts. I’ve seen plenty of Toyotas, Lexus and Mitsubishis with lug nuts though.
Isn’t this fairly typical for Japanese cars?

19·14 days agoThe reality is that an instance or community with rules that are too strict simply dies or never becomes popular in the first place since anyone can re-create a community on another server. People have the freedom to choose the “best” instance or even hang out on the strict one if they so desire.
