You can fix this by tying an onion to your belt, which is a style.
If you don’t have an onion, I recommend making a stew that blinds you for one day.

Yeah, I think you’re correct here. I haven’t tried this myself. First GPU was a GTX 1060. Swapped to an RTX 3080. I used DDU just to play it safe.

I used to be a Windows user before switching to Linux, and upgrading a GPU is incredibly simple on Windows. You don’t need Display Driver Uninstaller, but it is ideal to use it for the best performance and remediating future incompatibilities.
Process is almost identical for AMD or Arc GPUs.
I appreciate this is a meme, but if your computer behaves like that, it means it’s borked. I’d fix those other issues, too, and probably reinstall Windows. Most likely that user messed with things they shouldn’t have by following random guides and YouTube videos online. In my decades of using Windows, I never had those problems.
This is freaking hilarious! Love it

Debating finally picking up Hellblade II since it’s 75% off. This holiday I’m planning on playing Hi-Fi RUSH so I might hold off since I’ll be busy with that game. The spouse and I are also considering playing Jedi Survivor (if it’s cheap enough and we’re happy picking up two copies) or Clair Obscur. With these games lined up, I’m on the fence for Hellblade and probably will wait.

Doubt.
Proton export CLI utility takes 13 minutes.
You can by opting out of the current machinery of music.
I buy CDs and digital music on Qobuz and Bandcamp, and immediately archive it. Instant high quality lossless FLAC. Upload it to my own server and I can stream it on the go if I want. But for now, I also duplicate the effort by syncing the local files to my smart phone. I have complete and total authority over my music purchases. The simple time is now.
On another note, I’ve been thinking about resurrecting my iPod Classic or possibly my iPod nano. The rectangular yellow one. Loved that thing.

“They already have my information anyway.”
“Oh, what are they gonna do with my info? Who cares that I searched for X and Y? LOL.”
Me, a software engineer working for a major cSaaS provider that partners with other companies that specialise in Mobile Real User Monitoring, Open Telemetry, Bluetooth beacons, etc.: “Eh, no idea what they do with that info. Now let me just ignore all these non-anonymized analytics, spans, traces, and metrics that these companies capture about your devices and the health of their applications and infrastructure.”
I stopped bringing these things up years ago. Can’t explain this to persons who don’t care or are not remotely close to being tech savvy. Let them be content and enjoy the things they enjoy.

Unfortunately this is 100% real.

They’re strange markings to me, like some form of elvish. I don’t even read it anymore.
Kraft singles in your area, I imagine.
