James Moylan, the Ford engineer who designed the gas tank indicator known as the Moylan Arrow, has passed away at the age of 80 following a stellar career.

    Thanks for the contribution. It may be a very small detail but very helpful. I make use of it quite often when driving a rented car.

      As someone with ADHD I make use of if often, even in my own car lol.

      It’s also nice that it made it to EVs, my EV has the arrow!

    I had no idea this was a thing.

    I’d assume there’s a patent forbidding non Ford cars from having it.
