Edit I just want to hype Rigs Of Rods here a bit.

For years Rigs Of Rods was the most accessible realistic vehicle physics engine game out there for a lot of people and as a result there are now a LOT of really high quality community vehicles, particularly offroading trucks, heavy trucks and complex equipment like cranes to try out and mess around with that the community makers contributed over the years specifically because this was always meant to be a free game/engine.

Think of Rigs Of Rods less like a game and more like a museum for heavy vehicle nerds, and though the graphics are downright “commercial training simulator from the 2000s” honestly who cares it is 2026 if you want crazy graphics you wouldn’t even be considering this game in the first place. Look beyond that though and there is a really cool multiplayer capable sandbox here to explore with lots of vehicles that genuine care and attention went into. I think Rigs Of Rods is underrated in that sense and the fact that it is still in ongoing development is really cool.

Take a look at the repository of vehicles there is a lot of stuff in there.
