      No, but the fact that Steve Bannon apparently thinks so briefly gave me strange flicker of hope. Not that I’d for him. Unless it was him vs Trump ig. Idk he might be worse. I don’t think it matters, like you said.

        The MAGA godfather isn’t serious about becoming president — that’s not the point. Instead, he’s told allies he wants to shape the debate and pressure Republican candidates to embrace an “America First” agenda — including a non-interventionist foreign policy, economic populism and opposition to Big Tech.

        It reads to me like fake opposition like we see in most hollowed out democracies.
