    Neither of those mention natural disasters. Genesis is specifically talking about struggling to farm the earth for subsistence.

    And romans says nothing about natural disasters either.

      I think you need to look at the wider theological view of the text regarding the earth being cursed than what was literally written down. The earth being cursed essentially could have brought about animal suffering, natural disasters, droughts, etc. Another view one could have had is that they still could have happened but they wouldn’t have actually hurt people due to human mortality being introduced by the fall.

        So you agree sin causing hurricanes isnt a strictly biblical viewpoint and even put forward another you could accept where they already existed…

          It’s not necessarily Christian dogma. In fact, people have diverse views surrounding the beginning of Genesis as a whole. The fact of the matter is, suffering on earth isn’t caused by God, it’s a product of The Fall.
