Nor really, no. They kinda did a little for a short while and rather than abandon Trump, they temporarily abandoned Faux News in favor of Newsmax, OAN, or getting all their news on Facebook and Twitter.
Some have since returned after Faux stopped pretending to be independent of the Mango Mussolini, but the competitors are still MUCH more influential than before, which is a constant reminder to Faux that they have to keep enthusiastically licking his rancid taint or suffer the consequences.

Studies have also shown that conservatives lack empathy. Like literally the empathy center of their brain doesn’t activate. It’s just not there.
