0·1 year agoOkay the Trump is responsible for all of these wars and military conflicts since they happened under his watch:

I believe you described all of that as “very peaceful” earlier.
Looking forward to the explanation for how ISIS in Iraq isn’t Trump’s fault even though somehow it’s Biden’s fault that Russia invaded Ukraine.

Also, what progress? Russia just drone bombed the Chernobyl concrete dome.

0·1 year agoI said he is threatening to start them. Read before you respond.
Also, the president, despite what you and Trump think, is not the emperor of the world and cannot stop other countries from starting wars. Trump won’t be able to either if that’s what some other country decides to do. He doesn’t have magic powers like you seem to think he does.

0·1 year agoI know that Biden didn’t start any wars and also that even if he did, they weren’t in Somalia. Or Panama. Or Greenland. Or Canada.
You’re really not good at being deceptive, so maybe you should stop trying.

He has threatened to go to war with Panama, Greenland and fucking Canada.
Either you’re ignorant of what Trump is doing or you’re just lying. Neither is a good look.

0·1 year agoDemocrats had no problem with Hillary Clinton’s gender when she was overwhelmingly confirmed by them as Secretary of State. I assume you called anyone who criticized her sexist, right? How about anyone who criticized Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, also overwhelmingly confirmed by Demcocrats. So you are definitely a sexist, racist person if you were against her becoming a SCOTUS justice.
Hillary Clinton and Judge Jackson thank you for your support of them.

politics @lemmy.world•Senate confirms Tulsi Gabbard as Trump’s director of national intelligence
0·1 year agoWhat does the number of votes have to do with her support of a ruthless dictator like Bashar Assad? All that proves is that Republicans are fine with her supporting a horrible ruthless dictator that tortured and murdered countless people. You can make this about her race and gender all you like, but all you’re doing is ignoring the quotes of her saying literal things and support of both him and Russia in that article. Not that I’m surprised that you’re ignoring her actual words that she said. It makes it much easier to defend her if you ignore them. Not honest, but easier.

You can read the literal words she says in that article, but something tells me you won’t.

News@lemmy.world•South Carolina executes Marion Bowman as he proclaims his innocence
0·2 years agoFor those who wish to know the salient details of this clear miscarriage of justice:
Bowman, imprisoned for more than half his life, was convicted of the 2001 killing of Kandee Martin, a 21-year-old childhood friend. He has said he did not kill her and that he refused to accept a plea deal because of his innocence. His attorneys said the evidence used against him was not reliable: the primary witnesses implicating him were two men also charged in the crime who received reduced sentences, and a third man who had pending charges in a separate case, which were subsequently dropped.
His lawyers also argued that the state had withheld evidence casting doubt on the witnesses, including a memo outlining a claim that one of the witnesses had confessed to the shooting.
Bowman’s legal team also argued in a recent petition that the lawyer who represented him at trial had been “infected by his own racism”, writing that the lawyer pressured him to plead guilty because he was Black and his victim was white.
Even if he was 100% guilty of the crime, he did not in any way get a fair trial. By any measure, this was a miscarriage of justice and he should be alive today.

Nope. That’s not an explanation for why all of the conflicts I listed including the war with ISIS in Iraq, which is still happening (sounds like a forever war to me) are not Trump’s fault.
